Computer Science & Engineering
(CSE)
B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (B Tech CSE) is a four-year undergraduate programme that bridges the gap between hardware and software. It is designed to equip students with the skills to design, develop, and manage complex computing systems.
Core Syllabus Overview:
The curriculum is divided into eight semesters. While the first year is common for all engineering branches, the core technical journey begins from the second year.
Core Engineering:
- Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA): Learning how to store and process data efficiently.
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Focus on Java or C++.
- Computer Organization & Architecture: Understanding CPU, memory, and I/O systems.
- Operating Systems (OS): How systems manage resources.
- Discrete Mathematics: Logic and set theory for computer science.
Advanced Systems:
- Database Management Systems (DBMS): SQL and data handling.
- Computer Networks: Communication systems and protocols.
- Software Engineering: Agile and structured development methods.
- Theory of Computation & Compiler Design: Code interpretation logic.
- Artificial Intelligence: Basics of ML and neural networks.
Specialization & Projects:
- Electives: Cloud, Cybersecurity, Blockchain.
- Internship: Industry exposure.
- Capstone Project: Real-world application development.
Eligibility Criteria:
A pass in 10 + 2 with minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and at least 50% in each subject individually.
Amaravati Campus: Minimum 60% in 10th and 12th.
Admission Process:
Admission is based on AEEE 2026 rank or JEE Mains 2026 percentile. Candidates must participate in Centralised Seat Allotment.
This programme prepares students for careers in software development, systems engineering, and modern computing domains.
